Investigator Plus - POA

The Investigator plus Camera inspection system is supplied and sold for surveys and inspections of potable water pipelines. The system incorporates a 100m cable drum, ruggedized control box with leakage software, a miniature sensor head and a motorised drive and chlorination system.

The front end of the system acts as the guide and includes a high resolution digital camera system with acoustic sensors and in-built sonde for locating.

It enters the pipeline by insertion through any pressure fitting (minimum 1.5” bore) i.e. quadrenas, ball valves and air valves etc.

The system is unique as it can be operated under live mains pressure with no interruptions to customer’s supplies.

These systems have numerous capabilities:

The pipescan plus system is an external NDT scanning system which utilises the latest technology to record wall thicknesses and pipeline pit depths.

During implementation the unit couples the pipe and performs a 360 degree motorised scan.
